You Don’t Need to Have Everything Figured Out.
You need a starting point.
Whether you’re exploring ownership, developing an idea, already have a company or are actively operating a business, American Wealth Lab begins by helping you understand where you are today.
22 Questions • 4 Business Foundations • Personalized Recommendations • 30-Day Action Plan
There Is More Than One Way to Enter the Lab.
Your starting point determines what deserves attention next.
Don’t Start by Asking, “What Should I Buy?”
Start by asking what you already have, what may be missing and what the business actually needs next.
You may already have more of the foundation than you realize.
And if something important is missing, the assessment is designed to help identify it.
Before the Next Step, Know the Current Step.
The Ownership Readiness Assessment™ helps organize the conversation around four basic business foundations.
Different People Enter the Lab at Different Stages.
You don’t need to fit a single entrepreneur profile. Start from where you actually are.
I’m Exploring Ownership
You are interested in business ownership but may not yet know what type of company you want to build or where to begin.
I Have a Business Idea
You have an idea, skill, service, side hustle or opportunity that you want to organize into a real business.
I Already Have a Company
You may already have an LLC, corporation or EIN but still need infrastructure, systems, customers or a clearer development plan.
I’m Already Operating
Your company is active and you want to strengthen operations, marketing, sales, capital readiness or growth.
Assess. Review. Connect. Build.
The objective is to move from uncertainty toward a more organized ownership-development path.

22 Questions. Four Business Foundations.
The assessment looks at the infrastructure that supports a business from formation through growth.
Because “I Have a Business” Can Mean Very Different Things.
One person may have an idea. Another may have an LLC. Another may have customers. Another may have revenue but weak systems.
The assessment helps establish a clearer picture of the current business foundation.
You Should Leave With More Than a Score.
The objective is to turn the assessment into useful information about what may deserve attention next.
Readiness Score
A simple 22-point snapshot of the business foundations currently identified through the assessment.
Strengths
See which business foundations appear to already be in place.
Gaps
Identify areas where additional infrastructure or development may be useful.
Recommendations
Receive recommendations connected to the areas where help was identified.
Ownership Readiness Report™
Organize your assessment results, strengths, gaps and recommended development priorities.
30-Day Action Plan
Convert the findings into an initial sequence of actions that can help organize the next stage.
Your Score Is a Starting Point—not a Grade.
A lower score does not mean the business cannot succeed. A higher score does not guarantee success.
Foundation Stage
Several foundational elements may still need to be established or organized before the business moves further into launch and operations.
Development Stage
Important pieces may already be in place while other areas require additional infrastructure, systems or development.
Expansion Stage
Much of the foundational infrastructure may already exist, allowing greater attention to operations, customers, capital readiness and growth.
Turn Information Into a Development Path.
A Report Can Show the Gap. Navigation Helps Organize What Comes Next.
Some participants may want help understanding their assessment results and organizing the next stage of development.
Where available, an Executive Business Navigator can help participants review the business-development pathway and identify relevant AWL resources.
Your Next Step Depends on What the Assessment Finds.
Not every participant needs the same program, service or level of support.
Ownership Education
If you’re still exploring, begin with ownership concepts, business fundamentals and the Seed Company™ framework.
Seed Company™
If you’re ready to begin establishing a business, focus on the foundation required to move from idea toward an organized company.
Business Infrastructure
If the company already exists, focus on the launch and operating systems that may still be missing.
Growth Development
If the foundation is established, focus on customers, marketing, sales and growth systems.
Capital Lab
If capital is part of the business plan, begin evaluating capital readiness, documentation, funding structures and use of funds.
Partner Network
If you’re interested in helping introduce others to AWL, explore the independent Partner Program.
Don’t Buy What You Don’t Need. Don’t Rebuild What Already Works.
Identify the gap. Understand the priority. Then work on what the business actually needs next.
Before You Begin.
Do I need to already own a business?
No. The assessment can be useful for someone exploring ownership as well as someone who already operates a company.
What if I already have an LLC?
That’s fine. The assessment goes beyond formation and examines launch, operating and growth infrastructure.
Do I have to quit my job?
No. The AWL Owner-Employee framework recognizes that employment and business ownership can coexist.
What if I don’t know what business to start?
You can still begin with ownership education and the readiness process while exploring the skills, problems and opportunities around which a business could eventually be developed.
Does a high score guarantee success?
No. The score describes assessment responses related to business infrastructure. It does not predict revenue, profitability or success.
Does a low score mean I’m not ready?
Not necessarily. A lower score may simply identify more foundational areas that need to be developed.
Will AWL tell me what services I need?
Assessment results can identify business-development gaps and provide educational recommendations. You remain responsible for deciding which actions, services or professional resources are appropriate for you.
